5th Surpac-User-Meeting Austria Date: March 16th-17th, 2009 This was number FIVE! Again long-experienced Surpac users, new Surpac clients and people generally interested in Surpac met at this interesting event to learn about newest trends and developments in Surpac, exchange experiences amongst each other and deal in detail with some special topics of Surpac application. The talks of the first day, profoundly held by Stephen Bishop, Technical Product Manager of Gemcom Software International and Tina Zizek, Technical Support Consultant of Gemcom Software Europe, provided the unique oppertunity to learn about recent achievements and to discuss with experts about favourable developments in the future. The second day was traditionally designated to a special topic of Surpac. This time the features related to automation and custumization were the subject of interest. Although this topic is rather advanced and far from trivial, the participants showed gerat interest and much enthusiasm to create the first programs. And the delight gained from the fancy results of some of the examples was definitely worth the blood, sweat and tears. And opend the gates to remarkably efficient approaches to how things can be done with Surpac.
